During the recent vice presidential debate, Republican candidate J.D. Vance criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her remarks regarding the current status of U.S. service members.

Harris claimed that there are no U.S. troops currently in harm’s way, to which Vance labeled her statement as “astonishing” and unfit for someone in such a high position.

Vance spoke out against Harris’ ignorance and lack of knowledge about the reality of the situation. He pointed out that just a few weeks ago, several American troops were seriously injured by Iranian-backed militias, and highlighted the fact that these soldiers are risking their lives and serving in dangerous combat zones.

The Pentagon recently confirmed that eight U.S. service members were injured in a drone attack orchestrated by Iran-backed militias in Syria.

Also, Harris failed to mention the 13 service members who tragically lost their lives in Kabul, Afghanistan during the recent botched withdrawal on August 26, 2021.
