I rather believe that Tucker Carlson believed that Trump had a big involvement with Jan 6. I admit that I put some blame on Trump at that time. But after reading his words that day, he in no way encouraged any sort of insurrection. There was a minority that caused havoc and that is true with any group.
I also believe that Tucker always wants the truth to be revealed, regardless. He is getting backlash, not only by all Democrats but by some prominent Republicans for airing the tapes.

I reckon he will be staying right at FOX...he has the biggest viewership in the industry.
