National Public Radio, is a privately and publicly funded non-profit membership media organization that serves as a national syndicator to 797 public radio stations in the United States of America, "recently published a million-word screed against conservative pundit Ben Shapiro for the crime of being too successful.

Jaime Settle, director of the Social Networks and Political Psychology Lab at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, was one of the left-wing ideologues interviewed for the hit piece on Shapiro’s site, The Daily Wire."
