White House Reportedly Asks Department of Defense to Extend Troops' Occupation of DC
“We still have National Guardsmen out there, away from their families, away from their jobs, supplementing the police, and yet we can’t get a briefing on what is this dire threat that requires so many people,” Republican Rep. Michael Waltz of Florida told Fox News’ Martha McCallum on Monday, Fox News reported.“Why do we have more troops in the Capitol than we have in Iraq and Afghanistan combined? We still don’t have answers,” he said.
No one understands why the National Guard is still in Washington, D.C. and Democrat, Tulsi Gabbard said this, “The militarization of our nation’s capital was not only unnecessary but to send that message both to the American people and to the world that somehow our nation’s capital is under attack and threat of a siege of taking over, I just don’t think that’s the message that we want to send to the American people and to the world.”

One reason might be that the folks who overran the building vowed that they would be back. And they're still talking about doing it.
I agree 4:03 folks such as Antifa are a clear and present danger and the vice president (vice, how appropriate)supports looting and burning.
