Andy Amoroso knows better. He didn't care. You don't go plastering your signs on private property without the owner's permission. A 4th grader knows that. But that's exactly what Andy Amoroso did during Palm Beach Pride where a reported 25,000 attended--and this is not the first time he has done this.
One can only assume that the Vice Mayor might have made a bad business decision by moving from his rental space after being on the Avenue for 20 years. Lake Avenue doesn't seem the same without Studio 205 there.
But this is definitely NOT a non-story as the other blogger said. This is about an elected official taking advantage of free advertising on a store front that he no longer has any legal interest in and done with total disregard and contempt for the owners.
It's really sad that a PBSO deputy had to ask Amoroso not to try this trick again. He agreed.

If Peters and his daughters was any kind of a man, he would have put the signs there for Andy. As I see it, this Peters and daughters person has systematically degraded the buildings on Lake Avenue and elsewhere to the point where it looks something like there might have been a bomb exploded there.
I have nothing positive to say about Peters and his daughters, regarding their influence on the town.

All they have done is buy up properties. How do you think this looks like a bomb exploded? How have they "degraded" the buildings? Why don't you think that Andy should have asked permission? What if it was your property and someone plastered signs all over it?

The Peters family ,or any other land lord saying that someone "chooses" to leave takes huge brass balls.Many tenants are priced out of their spaces. They don't CHOOSE to leave,they are FORCED to leave. Now having said that,In my opinion Andy Amoroso really sucks. And not in a gay approved way. Amoroso is mean ,vindictive and just a dick head in general. Being forced out of the Avenue that he terrorized for so many years is certainly not leaving any current Lake Ave. business weeping for him.
Lynn, Peters and daughters are trying to make a champagne name for themselves out of a beer neighborhood. As far as the signs, I think it was small-minded of him to call the police over a couple of signs. As far as that goes, if he was that annoyed, he could have just removed them.
I guess they had to put the paving project on hold, so they could accommodate the endless list of festivities they have been hosting. Never mind the important things, just keep on dancing

andy is not a good person. He is mean, unkind, cruel, sarcastic, selfish, and greedy. He will use and abuse anyone and could care less how he takes advantage of others. It is all karma, what comes around goes around. Bet he is not doing well, tough. he is raping the citizens of LW by taking a huge salary with so many benefits that the good citizens/taxpayers of LW are paying for him. Karma, andy, maybe you should start being nice to all people, sincerely nice, not fake nice. Be a better person. Remember learn from jeff clemens who left office and also said he needed to work on being a better person, andy, learn from them and be a better person.
for a city commissioner to put signs on someone else's property for any reason is WRONG and unprofessional. does anyone think he doesn't KNOW that? he did it on purpose. and that is why he is not fit for his job. cannot wait till he is voted out. i am embarrassed to live in a city with someone like him on the payroll let alone in the capacity of an elected official.

This was and is not about either of these people and if we like them. This is a very simple thought process people . Our vice mayor Andy Amoroso pulled this illegal stunt multiple times before this got to this level . These people had no choice but to call the police to make a public record of it. If you read the article it clearly states Andy told the police he would not do it again (he clearly admits guilt to the police)well why would anyone go post posters on someone else’s property 6 months after they decided to move out that is the real question. this not scary that a city official would first bash these people by putting posters in the window for a month while he was moving then for the months after he moved out sneakily post I moved posters on the weekends thinking they would not notice it😂 maybe don’t bash your old landlord maybe don’t go on record with the newspaper quoting your landlord forced you out then maybe if you asked they would of allowed you to keep your signs showing you moved and where you moved. What We should be questioning is if he clearly did not believe in his own down town where he is the vice mayor and a successful business owner in this same location for over 20 years who refused to pay the current market that all others are currently paying is it fair for you Mr Amoroso to try to reap the benefits of the downtown by illegally posting your billboards on your old location without ever even asking permission? All we expect is for our vice mayor to respect the other merchants who do believe in the downtown and pay the current market rates and not infringe on our businesses by these unscrupulous underhanded tactics which clearly show a misuse of power. Since there is no public record indicating what one pays for rent, your information either comes from hearsay, or the owner of the unit told you. This comes under the heading of gossip.
who cares what the rent is..someone said to be careful of these new owners they will influence what our town looks like.maybe they have a better idea than art which the city is pushing and it doesnt help our city image in our eyes.all I have ever heard is the comparing lake worth to delray.then pay the rent or go to lantana
Artist is the new expression for can't get a job and earn a living. Personally, I wouldn't want to live in Delray. The traffic is worse than it is in Lake Worth. Lantana is a dump, only held together by the taxes paid from across the bridge.
None of these communities can sustain themselves, without creating the circus atmosphere and income from these incessant block parties, etc. In other words, if it weren't for alcohol, all the towns would go up in smoke. Why do you think they want to legalize marijuana. The wages of sin, so it would seem.
