He, along with other Democrats, some of whom are running for the office of president, is behind a Medicare For All bill.
This bill, title by title and section by section, is almost identical in substance to the Medicare for All Act of 2017 (S.1804) introduced last Congress.
Under Title I, the bill would create a new national health insurance plan to provide universal coverage to all U.S. residents, regardless of their legal status. This new program would be phased in over a four-year period. It is estimated that 181 million people would lose their private health-care. [the Daily Signal]

When you compare Bernie to this O'Rourke fellow, Bernie looks like a Prince.
Beto still talks about "my mom and my dad" like he was about 16 years old. It's all an act, albeit a very poor one.
Yesterday, there was a "New Age" woman who announced her candidacy. I have to say, there is some entertainment value to the whole thing, but how long can it go on?
