In spite of the fact that Tom Copeland conceded, the city will have another election costing approximately $25,000. The City is, and always has been, paranoid about lawsuits and therefore did not accept Tom Copeland's concession. As a reminder, Herman Robinson always said he would only run for one term.
Omari Hardy at 50:09 of the video gave his 5 minute thoughtful and impassioned comments, saying "We must have peace on the dais."

The weather was not conducive to my getting down there last night. Why can't we get the backup anymore? I'm a Tom supporter.
I don't think this is quite fair .this city knew they weren't going to accept toms concession.now he has only one week to get back out there.hope he can do it.im for him
You did very well Lynn. I don't know the process, but I hope term limits will appear as an agenda item in the foreseeable future. I wasn't at all concerned about term limits, until they changed the name of the city. They have the city in a strangle hold, due to the extent of their tenure. Everybody thinks they are the city, and what is will always be. It's like a little kingdom, with the city manager as the Majordomo, instead of the Major Dodo!
