I hate to break up the fun, but I can't understand why anyone with no chance of becoming president would get involved in this process. It costs money, doesn't it? "What's the motivation?"
Publicity, good or bad it's still attention.
It usually costs other people's money such as El Chapo funding the Hillary Clinton campaign. Crime families matter.
