I decided to go ahead and post this ANONYMOUS comment, after first deleting it, just because it is SO RIDICULOUS:

Katie's the victim of animals that lived here longer than she has and will be here long after she's gone? Save our neighborhoods filed a frivolous lawsuit because they didn't want development in their neighborhood. There's no townhouses and now she's complaining about wild animals, what next? Trees blocking the air from her yard? Katie should run for office. Mayor as a matter of fact. She should show everyone in the city how foolish she is.
......................
Let me answer this--
1. The lawsuit was not frivolous. SON won it in the circuit court.
2. She is complaining about a property that has not been maintained or cared for and residents in the neighborhood have experienced damage to their properties because of raccoons. She is doing exactly what a neighborhood board officer should be doing...standing up.
3. Before you comment again on things for which you have no knowledge, do your research or else you will look very FOOLISH and just a nasty person, basically.

I want to say thank you to all of you who work so hard in the neighborhoods. Without you, what would LW look like? I dread the thought.

While I agree that code should enforce our codes and property owners should keep properties neat and clean, I am all for raccoons. It would be very sad if we had no wildlife in our small city.

Her point is well taken, but leave the critters out of it.

Raccoons need to have a life too BUT when they start eating through your roof, there is a problem, Houston.

Honest, energetic, and unafraid are traits we need in our officials. Two people come to mind, Katie and Mary Lindsey. Both of you please run for office.

You two obviously have way too much free time.

OK I love this one! AWESOME Katie!

After having to fix my own roof and about 6 other owners fixing their own roofs around the neighborhood its not just the critters. Yes this had to do with critter but not the critters fault. If they did not have an abandon piece of property to hang out in with all the holes in the roof and be able to multiply like guppies in a fish tank then,,,,Just then they would be at a normal level in the neighborhood.

You want more? how about of the field rats that our a plague now? How about that after not maintaining the property then mow and send those critters running in mass to everyone in the neighborhood because a property is not properly maintained should be criminal. Think about this Anons that hide behind the Anon postings.

All of us on this side of town understand the loss however when you are an investor, (Just like insurance!) your taking a risk. You lost on a "sure bet" so please just move on and quit the ridiculousness. At least Katie made her point with style and originality. Maybe the investors can come up with some clever themselves other than threatening to sue a city over a national economic crises which is the real root of their issues.

But with all that said boys and girls, listen up. The market is up and they will earn their dough on the property and they will move on. Just wonder what the new owner will be like. Hope they like rats and raccoons.

Sincerely,
Robert Waples

The comments left by 6:18 are utter nonsense, juvenile and barely readable. Please formulate your meager contentions before putting pen to paper.

Don't worry Anon 7:05 Anon 6:56 can't read between the lines and frankly I'm not a writer however. They got the point they just don't have the guts to sign their names to it.

Love, Peace and Best Holiday Wishes.

We will all meet the same fate in the end so pick your dirty self up, dust yourself off and move forward and move on - ME

I guess I am not in the know because I have no idea what 7:32 is talking about. What I do know is that we have loads of new ordinances to deal with problems like this, but will they ever be put to use.
