The City of Lake Worth gets credit for another crime that wasn't theirs. It was also reported in the Palm Beach Post yesterday as happening in Lake Worth. There is a lot of confusion. The media was doing a better job earlier in the year distinguishing between crimes in the City of Lake Worth and what should have been attributed to the County.
Resident Laurence McNamara notified the media yesterday of its mistake, something that the commissioners should be jumping on.
"I'm going to bite them in the butt as far as I can and take everything
that we got from them to teach them a lesson that this is not going to
be tolerated," said sheriff Ric Bradshaw talking about the food stamp fraudsters.
