Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you having a beautiful day and enjoying the start of another glorious week.
I’ve attached the poster for our Water Safety & Drowning Prevention Expo to be held at the Lake Worth Pool on Oct. 12th from 9:30 AM – 12 PM. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, Drowning Prevention, Share the Stoke and other organizations will be on hand to educate attendees on the variety of water safety programs. We will also be launching the RedTrunks swim program and announcing its inaugural class.
Admission is free.Members of community organizations such as For the Children will be in attendance and South Palm Parkway Neighborhood Association will be holding a neighborhood relay challenge. Contact Chip Guthrie, President of SPPNA at 719-6696 or bguthrie@pottydoctor.com if you’d like to register your team or for more information on the relay.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase the pool, give members of our community a glimpse into the many wonderful water safety programs available to them and to advance the cause of drowning prevention – which you know is desperately needed in our area.
On behalf of the Friends of the Lake Worth Pool, I would like to invite you all to attend the event and take part in the many educational opportunities it affords.
If you have any questions or if there is anything I can do, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Wishing you all the best,
Keiran O’Shay
President, Friends of then Lake Worth Pool
