A vast majority of politicians are arrogant and CORRUPT. They do not care what the residents say or what they have voted on in the past. Realizing that situations and circumstances can change, especially after 15 years, heights should always be voted on by the people and never by a 3 to 2 vote from the dais.
Read about where Business leaders in West Palm beach want the commission to raise the heights at the old City Hall to 10 stories for a hotel even though there is a 5 story height limit. In 2010 residents voted against giving the old city hall site an exemption.

These are business people in the city of W.P.B. saying this and not the commissioners. If you where able to watch the W.P.B. commission meeting last night you would have seen and heard that the commission was very aware of what the public voted on and very concerned that the public know what was going on with this property. The Post sometimes likes to stir thinks up.The city also approved a convention center hotel last night. A smaller hotel on the old city hall site could work just fine.
Since when have Wesy Palm Commissioners cared about what the people of West Palm want?
