Not Karl Rove. Not the Wall Street Journal. Not pension-chasing state senators who sit on supermajorities and refuse to use power.
Trump didn’t “interfere” in Indiana. He gave voters a language for what they already knew: if Republicans win big and still govern timidly, they deserve to be replaced.
The same lesson applied in 2016, when Trump saved Indiana Republicans after Mike Pence folded under pressure. MAGA voters are done rewarding cowardice. A supermajority is not decoration. It is a weapon. Use it. [Luthmann-Surber]
