This week, David Hogg, the perpetually outraged Parkland survivor-turned-DNC Vice Chair, (A Democratic National Committee (DNC) panel voted to void the result of a vote electing David Hogg as vice chair of the party) appeared on The Breakfast Club to shower Rep. Jasmine Crockett with praise, calling her “amazing” for “fighting hard, calling out the BS, and saying what she believes.”

The irony? These are the exact qualities Democrats have spent years demonizing in Donald Trump. But in their relentless pursuit of hypocrisy, the left has once again revealed their double standards—celebrating Crockett’s theatrics while condemning Trump’s authenticity.

Hogg gushed, “She’s bold, she’s fearless, she’s authentic.” Authentic? Crockett is a Harvard-educated attorney who morphs her demeanor depending on the audience, switching between polished legal rhetoric and social media-ready meltdowns.

Her performances in congressional hearings are less about leadership and more about viral moments—a far cry from Trump’s unwavering, unfiltered approach. As Hogg himself admitted, Americans want leaders who “speak plainly, don’t care what critics think, and call out the BS.” That’s Trump. But the left, blinded by ideology, refuses to see it.
