Homeless artist challenges stereotypes
Right now, the pavilion at Bryant Park is Hernan’s studio. He also sleeps there when he can. And he’s asking anyone out there if they might have a place for him to store his work and a place for him to work.He used to live at Tent City in John Prince Park. I am happy that Francky Pierre Paul, who used to be a member of John Prince Park Preservation, is helping him sell his paintings.

I wonder why he didnt go to the homeless shelter that was offered?
So sad that such a talented man is somewhat choosing to live on the streets.
I don't get why he hasn't been given a live/work studio on Lucerne near F street. Isn't he right for that?
Why should he be "given" anything?
