Palm Beach Post endorsements for Lake Worth Beach city Commission
Well, the only surprise from this Alt-Left newspaper was doing something right--the endorsement for Mayor Pam Triolo. Omari Hardy's wish to kick her off the dais has been setbck by this endorsement. The rest of their endorsements are no surprise: a Democratic Socialist, a Globalist Biden supporter who loves Omari Hardy, and a minority to take the seat that she was appointed to and once held by racist Omari Hardy. If there was an illegal alien running they would probably endorse him/her too.
The Post's article is full of lies and fantasy. Sure don't know who they've been listening/talking to...What they said: "a city leadership struggling to complete capital projects, settle on a clear direction for downtown development and fighting a perception of being unresponsive to city residents —particularly the Black and Latino communities that make up the majority of Lake Worth Beach’s population."
As a side of trivia and according to one demographic, non-citizens make up 27.2% of our population in the city and according to Neighborhood Scout, foreign born residents make up 37.4%.

On of the reasons I moved to Lake Worth Beach is its diversity. I love it!!
And the average income per person here is less than $29,000 a year. It attracts the poor and our poverty rate is terrible. Percentage of residents living in poverty in 2019: 24.4%

Betty Resch loves diversity too!
One of the major reasons I came back to Lake Worth was the direction it was going in! Now it may have been a mistake? We need to keep this city moving forward!
We need to keep the incumbents!
I'm voting for Pam, Scott and Andy. I also like Chris.
These races are going to be close. All the lead opponents are smart, know the issues and articulate well.
March 9 will be a very exciting day!
Probably be a run-off for Mayor.
I also like the diversity, 10:09, However, when it comes to immigrants, I think it is appalling, that the people who are responsible for this mass immigration, take no responsibility for their welfare, once they are here.
These people are brought here by politicians, who are beholden to the Big corporations, whether it's Big Sugar, or killing chickens, and they should be schooled on how to live in urban environments. They are mostly from agrarian societies, and have no idea how to function in their new environment.
I never hear anybody mention, what or how we plan to acclimatize the new immigrants.
Imagine if they just dropped you off in Afghanistan, or the Hindu Kush. How would you function?
What NO one is taking responsibility for is allowing ILLEGAL ALIENS to enter our country in the first place and encourage them to move to Lake Worth.
Good Point! How do they get here from Mexico? That's a hell of a walk.
I looked at that link you posted, Lynn, and the PER CAPITA income was $24,000...that's for every person including babies and retirees. The average median household income was $44,000 which sounds more accurate.
And the average price of a house was $213,000 in Lake Worth in 2000.
I don't have anything against living among people who are poorer than me. There aren't too many since I make so little (LOL!) but I certainly don't hold it against them. Imagine if we were all the same...how boring life would be!
Something to think about.
@8:35pm...every demographic site you use will be somewhat different in its figures.
I certainly don't hold being "poor" against anyone...I am in that category myself now that I am retired.
But the city has attracted and made this a "welcoming city" so we are getting a lot of poor here. But they have approved the building of some high end units. This is a good thing. Part of the city will be more middle class and up and the other part will always be poor because this is what is migrating to our city. People have to live somewhere and they are in the areas where most of the crime occurs.
Luckily where I live it is 55 years or older housing--and we do background and credit checks.
