mcvoy and martin are 2 of the most inteligent people who have run in a long time.they read their back up[when it is there] and the.y think before they speak.also voting for sara and betty.change the whole group.thats my voice so dont get mad
Not sure that I agree with you on the "reading back-up" comment 9:10 but very few commissioners ever do read the back-up...just my opinion from observing ti all for years. Omari Hardy DID read the back-up. They vote with the city manager probably 100% of the time.
@10:53...you can stay tired, ok!!?? I do NOT support Omari in any way, shape or form but I do tell the facts here. He READ THE BACK-UP and came prepared to every meeting. I disagreed with him 99% of the time.
I consider Chris a friend, however let's all recall the reason we all voted for Omari - we were done with Chris.
He's a Socialist, straight-up. Remember the hat he wore on the dais with the Venezuelan flag after their elections, then stating "Viva Venezuela? Look a t that place now. We don't need to go backward.
Ii like Drew as well and plan on voting for him, depending on his stance regarding PBSO. As much as I'd like to see Andy go, if Drew is a de-funder in any way, that's a deal breaker.
Political skills and intelligence do not necessarily go hand in hand. Most of the successful politicians seem to be attorneys.
The key is to have intelligent people advising the politician. Not that attorneys aren't intelligent, but the scientific mind rarely lends itself to successful campaigning.
I am surprised the site is endorsing McVoy. If this is to be considered a conservative blog, others might be a more logical choice. It is unfortunate that the candidate forum at the theater is a no go this year. Perhaps NAPC should consider a Zoom type meeting so there is a opportunity for Mike Martin and McVoy to be heard. Not much opportunity for the public at large to hear from all the voices running this year.
@1:35...that's the trouble with some folks...you jump to conclusions. Chris is a friend and there are NO conservatives running in this district. Who is Mike Martin? Drew Martin is a friend running in a different District.

I like Martin, and I like McVoy, but can they get anything done?
Probably if the dais is changed out
If they change out the dais, would that make Robinson vice-mayor? Yikes.
@8:54. No, the commission votes on those positions

The ONLY socialist/communist was Omari Hardy. Christopher made good decisions for LW
