Funding port a potties only tends to legitimize the behavior. Do you want to mainstream homelessness, or categorize these people and put them in facilities where they belong. Unless you have a severe disability, you should be made to conform to a certain minimum societal norm. That would include not living on the street. If you didn't like the facilities that are provided for you, then you would be free to get a job and help yourself. Those who are physically handicapped would be provided for in surroundings that would tend to either minimize the handicap, or provide perpetual care for severe cases.
Freedom is not a right, it's a privilege. This is where we have gone off the track.
If there is a Conservative argument to counter that, I'd like to hear it.
