Charter School might get sued

Outside portable classrooms at charter school in Lake Worth Beach in controversy

The City of Lake Worth gave the charter school, Academy for Positive Learning, 5 years to get rid of the portable units. They haven't. In fact, they have gone over the deadline by one year. City Manager Bornstein says, "enough is enough. Remove them or we're taking you to court. "

Renatta is hitting the road because she didn't get the bucks from the school bond. Money went only to public, not private charter schools. Hate to agree with Mr. corrupto Bornstein but he's right on this one. Those portables should never have been allowed at all. Period.

@8:51 pm--I agree. They had more than plenty of time to raise the funds for a permanent building. the city really did give them more than enough time.
