United States no longer will be a sap to the United Nations

President Trump cut nearly $300 million dollars from the United Nations after 120 countries voted to condemn the United States over our Israeli Embassy move to Jerusalem. Their vote was the icing on the cake to reduce our contribution. President Trump has often talked about member nations paying their fair share. The U.S. currently funds about 22 percent of the U.N.’s $5.4 billion annual budget.

"It’s all compared to our national debt $300 may seem like a drop in the bucket, but that is enough to cause the United State government to increase its solvency after the tax cut."

In March 2016, candidate Donald Trump said: "The United Nations is not a friend of democracy, it’s not a friend to freedom, it’s not a friend even to the United States of America where, as you know, it has its home. And it surely is not a friend to Israel.”

"So now the UN will have to make do with less… Doing God knows what." [eeuutime]
