Well I don't know about you, but it drives me crazy when I enter an establishment in this country and everyone is speaking Spanish. A few months ago I approached a woman employee at Bodegon and she did not speak English. In fact, the store had no one who could speak with me intelligently in our official language even the woman working in customer service. She finally hailed down some young man to interpret for me.
32 states have made English their official language:
"States that have English-only laws are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming."
In 1988, Florida voters decided to make English our official language. But as a resident in south Florida, we know that many immigrants do not speak nor do they understand English. What's more, they cross our borders and have no intention of learning. If they tried to assimilate, perhaps some of the prejudice might disseminate. Instead, there are some in Miami who want to make English and Spanish our official language, making it easier for immigrants never to learn our language thus changing our culture forever.

Good luck with that Lynn, our government just allowed too much immigration too fast in the USA, very problematic now, then they wonder why there is so much white flight from so many areas like ours here.
Geez, just go to the Planet Fitness on Dixie just north of LW, filled with all these Cubans and chicky Guats, no one speaks English there and then they have the lazy ethic of not breaking down their weights or cleaning up after themselves, staying on machines forever on their cell phones. That is not our world, it is another country as my brother told me once.
Just go to Lake or Lucerne Aves west of the tracks in Lake Worth, it is an entirely different country there, that is not part of the USA anymore. Even the police don't like to go over there.

Szerdi? What happened to him, last I heard me went to Italy on vacation, lives in a lovely renovated home on Ocean Breeze and has a great life as I see it. How bout you?
