Ellie Whittey announces Candidacy in Lake Worth

Ellie Whittey who describes herself on Facebook as a comedian, announced her campaign for District 4 Commissioner at Tuesday night's commission meeting. You have to have a good sense of humor to run for any office in this city.

Her favorite quotes:
If I am only for myself then who will be for me...Pass the ketchup...What do you mean, you don't understand me...If 6 was 9....Turn left....

Now, now, anonymous @4:19. Does anyone know her? We will meet all of the candidates at the NA forums.

Rather than give a speech about their glorious past accomplishments, it would be important to know what they are doing now. Are they just seeking this office because they can't find a job. That would be my guess. The position pays way too much for a part-time job and has far too many benefits.

The bitter irony is that these clowns on the local level frequently wind up at the State and Federal level. Case in point: Jeff Clemens. How can we possibly survive this onslaught of incompetence and mediocrity?
