In 2008, Palm Beach County created a 10-year plan to end homelessness. The County has invested in facilities costing millions as well as investing in drug and job programs along with housing subsidies. But going into the sixth year now, thousands of people are still homeless. It is estimated that there are at least 3,228 plus individuals and families in Palm Beach County living outside on any given night. See Homeless Coalition.
Crime is escalating in our downtown and we simply can't solve the problem especially when church groups are encouraging them to our city by setting up food pantries. If any group is busing them in, they need to be bused back out. Last night, I got a call from a resident that sheriff vehicles ascended on a homeless person(s) for spray painting graffiti on one of our downtown buildings.

Where did the millions spent on the homeless go ? Into the pockets of the West Palm Beach and County Commissioners friends?
P.B.S.O. has grounds to tell this guy to move on. But, THERE ARE NO FUC$ING P.B.S.O OFFICERS IN OUR DOWNTOWN !!!!!!! Anybody seen the huge parade of hookers working it on Dixie? Lake Worth could do better by hiring a band of seniors armed with fly swatters.
