Finally a Killer killed

Comment Up

Justice was served.

Why does it take so damn long? Chavez, who spent nearly 16 years on Death Row, was the 12th inmate put to death in Florida since the start of 2012. Every time I start to think about the horrors of the death penalty, a case such as this one reminds me as to why we need it.

Way to go, Governor Scott.

I don't believe in it any more either. There have been quite a few who have been excluded by DNA evidence which means there could have been some who have met their maker for someone else's deed.

Also, the bleeding heart liberals who have no problem killing unborn children, want to save the life of animals who live amongst us allow them to languish on our dime for decades.

If they are found guilty and sentenced to death, it should be carried out like they do in Iraq. How long did Iraquis have to pay to keep ole Saddam alive?

Bring back hard labor and forget about them. They are not worth thinking about.
