Quote of the Day - Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen

Comment Up
“Gay and lesbian individuals share the same capacity as heterosexual individuals to form, preserve and celebrate loving, intimate and lasting relationships. Such relationships are created through the exercise of sacred, personal choices — choices, like the choices made by every other citizen, that must be free from unwarranted government interference.”

~ U.S. District Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen (appointed by Obama)

Amen, allelujah, and absolutely, equal rights are not special rights, gays deserve absolutely 100% equal rights to marry in the USA. Being gay is not a choice and all us us should be able to marry no matter of their sexual orientation. Thanks God for people like Pres. Obama, Judge Wright Allen, Eric Holder and others that are clearing the way for 100% equal rights for gay people in the USA.

While striking down the state’s gay marriage ban on Thursday, Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia wrote, “Our Constitution declares that ‘all men’ are created equal. Surely this means all of us,” ABC News reported.

Except that it’s actually the Declaration of Independence that declares, “all men are created equal,” you know the whole, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”
