How long have we been going round and round on code in this city? A remedy approach? If you actually SEE something amiss, write it up. It is time to stop talking about it and actually do something about it. Stop just concentrating on the revenue producers such as lack of licenses or permits but cite these disgusting properties and fine the heck out of the owners.
Every citizen in the city should contact code enforcement when they see a property not meeting our standards and follow up on the complaint. Hold their feet to the fire.
