As things are turning for the worst in Washington, I wanted to mention Newsweek's article on our president nearly one year ago. The now closed and liberal Newsweek Magazine featured Obama on its cover. There's no more print edition of Newsweek in the U.S. as of December 2012. It merged with The Daily Beast and went digital.
In that article on Obama, Editor Matt Patterson and Newsweek said that Obama was a fine example of the Peter Principle. "In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office."
