Two more stimulus backed solar companies announce lay-offs. A pair of foreign-owned solar companies that benefited from a
combined $84 million in Energy Department tax credits have announced
they will lay off employees.
One of the companies, German-owned SolarWorld, was integral
in the fight for tariffs against the importation of Chinese
photovoltaic solar panels. The other, Chinese company SunTech, blamed
those tariffs for its own layoffs.

Those windmill types wont stay up during a hurricane besides being very expensive.The solar panels wont either.Plus it takes to many and a large area to do the job.A person in LW,1976 era, made panels that was used for air conditioning.Very costly and didnt work very well. There must be a cheaper and better way.
