Tampa leads ranking for Foreign National Investors

Three Florida cities ranked in Top 10

Tampa has been ranked the top U.S. city for foreign multinationals to do business, according to the latest Financial Times–Nikkei “Investing in America” report.

The annual study evaluates more than four dozen factors important to international investors, including workforce availability, infrastructure, business climate, and quality of life.

Tampa rose 26 spots from last year, driven by lower utility costs, reduced crime rates, and a diversified economy that scored well in a new “trade war resilience” category.

Florida secured two other spots in the top 10, with Orlando ranking fourth and Miami ninth.
