Democratic Strategist Admits He's 'Scared to Death' About Upcoming Election

Democrat strategist James Carville expressed concern about the upcoming election during an appearance on MSNBC's Ari Melber. "The only thing I feel is the election is coming November 5th. I’m scared to death," he said. He emphasized his deep worry, stating, "I’m very, very concerned."

Carville pointed out that Vice President Kamala Harris has only about 20 days to ramp up her messaging. Hurricane Milton is expected to dominate the news cycle soon. "They need to be sharp. They need to be aggressive," Carville urged.

He suggested Harris should stop simply responding to questions and start asking them. "No matter what, if I come on your show, you will ask me the questions."

Melber asked if Carville wanted to see more press conferences from Harris. He affirmed the need for her to control the narrative. "Where she’s out saying, ‘What is J.D. Vance talking about that Trump saved Obamacare? He tried to destroy it at every point,’" he explained. Carville believes President Obama should be part of this effort. "He only has a 92% approval with Democrats."

Vance, a sharp intellect as well as attacking Ron DeSantis is s detriment to her. She needs to answer policy questions, honestly, of course...and that is the biggest problem for her.
