New Law Requires Florida Students to Be Taught About ‘The Evils of Communism’
High school students in Florida will be required to learn about “the evils of communism” under one of three bills Gov. Ron DeSantis signed on Tuesday.DeSantis signed the bills at a news conference at Three Oaks Middle School in Fort Myers. Two of the bills—HB 5 and SB 1108—focus on civics education, and the third—HB 233—requires freedom of expression at state colleges and universities.
Of course Democrats are saying DeSantis is creating an issue "that doesn't exist." Are you kidding me? This will prevent teachers from "indoctrinating" students with a liberal agenda. Justin Katz, President of the Teachers Union in Palm Beach County and an Omari Hardy supporter, is opposed.

I was just talking about this a day ago with my cousin who lives in up-state New York whose family migrated to the United States in 1967 and the evils that his family suffered under communism. The younger generation of Cuban Americans have no understanding about communism other than what their grandparents have told to them. Now they will learn.
