Irate man fires gun in Lake Worth (Beach)

"A Delray Beach man is being held without bail on charges including aggravated assault and discharging a firearm in a residential area.

LAKE WORTH BEACH - A Delray Beach man is facing charges after he allegedly fired multiple shots at his ex-girlfriend and her mother Friday on a crowded Lake Worth Beach street following a dispute over taxes.

Leonard Williams, who turned 32 Monday, was arrested Saturday on one count each of aggravated assault with a firearm, domestic battery and discharging a firearm in a residential area. He is being held without bail at the the Palm Beach County Jail.

He allegedly fired four to five shots at the women amid an altercation at their residence on the 200 block of South D Street, a row of tightly spaced homes one-half mile southeast of Lake Worth High School.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrest report does not indicate that anyone was hurt."
