Developers have targeted Lake Worth (Beach)

Lake Worth (Beach) to build 7 story rental complex

Lake Worth has been targeted and this administration and commission LOVE it.

The Community Redevelopment Agency’s push for development in the western area of Lake Worth Beach’s downtown will cost the taxpayers $1.6 million plus a commitment to spend $3-4 million for a parking garage that the developers will run!

"Fort Lauderdale-based Affiliated Development announced plans on Tuesday for The Bohemian - a 186-unit, seven-story rental apartment complex on East Coast Street just south of Lake Avenue."

This is the same group that built The Mid.

The developers said, “We believe in the future of Lake Worth Beach and we want to be part of crafting its future....the Bohemian name celebrates the character of Lake Worth Beach.”

Read about it...

The voters in Lake Worth gave this development crazy commission three year terms and they are coming at you like a run-away train. Developers know exactly what city to target and what city obviously has the cash to help fund them. Next they will be taking over our beach complex. Watch out for our golf course too! I will always remember the late Peter Timm's saying, "the people of Lake Worth are a 'walking wallet.'" He also said that the entire city is "affordable."

The people voted them in...it's past time for term limits.
