US citizens killed, kidnapped in cartel shootout in Mexico
At least nine people—including six children—who lived in a religious community of U.S. citizens in northern Mexico were killed Monday in what could be a case of mistaken identity after drug trafficking rivals got into a shootout with cartel gunmen, according to family.[Fox]Read about it...
President Trump has been putting a lot of pressure on the cartels and this could be just a message from them as Mexico has capitulated to these murderous bastards and their activities. Mexico is a vital American interest and we need to do all that we can to help Mexico in order to stop these criminals as it seems that they are more powerful than the Mexican government.

The reason these people lived in Mexico was because they were practicing polygamists, and as such could not comfortably live in the US.
Everything has a price. These people paid a particularly high price.
You are not responsible for the "sins" of your father. This group abandoned polygamy years ago, from what I have read.
No matter how you look at it, they were renegades. When you're in a foreign country, you keep your head down.
Do you want to be responsible for them? Do you want to send troops to Mexico, or do you just want to talk? Talk is cheap!
They were living there for decades upon decades, minding their own business with no problems. One mother and her kids got a flat tire. So, 9 innocent people are mowed down and set ablaze in Mexico? What if it happened in Norway? Would you be any less outraged?
Mexico is not doing anything about the biggest scourge that is affecting our country daily, cartels killing our people with drugs.
Now these drug cartels are killing our innocent citizens.
Do you think we should just look the other way like Mexico?

It's a very odd situation. All that land they own in Mexico. Take the same situation, but put the Mexicans on the land in the US, and the Americans ambush them. Sounds like another Alamo!
