Lake Worth, Florida – The City of Lake Worth will be hosting a Parade in celebration of Veterans Day starting at 11am followed immediately by a Ceremony of Honor in the Cultural Plaza.
Multiple bands, veteran’s groups, local organizations and the City will be taking part in celebrating Veterans in this family friendly event.
In preparation for the parade and to allow for added security measures, the below streets will be temporarily closed and parking prohibited from 7:00am until 3:00pm:
• Lake Avenue from South Dixie to Federal Highway
• Lucerne Avenue from South Dixie Highway to Federal Highway
• Federal Highway from Lucerne Avenue to 5th Avenue North
To ensure a safe and successful parade the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office may tow vehicles left parked on the street in violation of this temporary order.
The Lake Worth (Robert Harris) Bridge will remain open for use during the parade.
