Did you forget The Marquis de Lafayette? More recently, I think Macron was foolish to forget the role the US played in WWII. If we didn't secure Victory for the Allies, they would have been toast.

What is dumb? The Colonies didn't have a penny to finance the War for Independence. It was all financed by the countries of Europe. The Marquis de Lafayette led the troops at the Battle of Yorktown. This is not some obscure piece of information.
