Palm Beach County Circuit Court Judge Recommendations

CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE RECOMMENDATIONS and a few tidbits

All qualified, but these are who I like:

• Group 13--Scott Kerner--Lake Worth native and brother of PB County Commissioner, Dave Kerner.

• Group 18--Maxine Cheesman--former director of South Florida Water Management

• Group 25--Sarah Willis--received high marks from the county bar association

Scott Kerner's opponent is running on racism--believes she should be a judge because she is black. She said, "It's important to have a bench that is reflective of the community it serves." Her reasoning is flawed. A circuit judge must conduct a trial in a neutral manner, which means the judge cannot show bias against or for one party.
