Which Palm Beach County city is among the best places to retire?
Well, it isn't Lake Worth.First of all, one of the requirements was to have a population over 50,000. We don't.
Next, not have more than double the national crime risk--we have so much crime that it isn't funny and some people are "packing" just to feel safe.
Or have less than 85 percent of Florida's median household income.
Besides, Lake Worth has little regard for retirees who sell their homes in the north and actually have retirement income and money in the bank. They prefer building affordable housing and attracting more poor people--illegals are all welcomed--and if you're ICE, don't come here as we are a "welcoming city" for, well you know who for.

You are outta touch with what’s going on in Lake Worth. You don’t have s feel for the town living where you do. The town is a destination fir young professional families, retirees, gays, empty nesters, and immigrants. This town is awesome with so many great places to eat and a short $7–10 Uber to West Palm Beach or Delray.
