I like this chart.
Has DeSantis changed his position on allowing healthcare companies to deny coverage to people with pre-exisiting conditions? Last time I checked, he was okay with that.
DeSantis has always advocated for Trump policies and one main one is insuring those with pre-existing conditions. He is not, as far as I know, advocating for Medicaid expansion.
"I would certainly support protecting pre-existing conditions but would do it in a way to allow vast majority of Floridians to have access to a competitive private market," DeSantis told the the Tampa Bay Times a month ago.
I read the whole thing and while DeSantis seems to want to cover Floridians with pre-existing conditions, he doesn't have an real plan to do so...at least one that he's sharing. That's worrisome to me because my 15yo has multiple sclerosis and without insurance we go broke. It's literally a matter of life and death for us. If I don't vote for someone who has a solid plan and who wants to make sure everyone is covered, it's going to be bad for us.
They say if you have your health, you have everything...and that's why, despite my differences with Democrats on a lot of things, I have to vote for Gillum. He's not perfect, no candidate is. But he helps me keep my health insurance. That is huge.
Yeah you'll have your health insurance----Oh wait-You won't. Your taxes will increase 40% and meanwhile good luck finding a Dr. willing to take whatever crappy Medicaid (or whatever we end up with in socialist land) you and your son with multiple sclerosis will get stuck with.Meanwhile try not to get run over ,stabbed or shot by one of the millions of illegal aliens that will be flooding our state.Want a job to help support your sick son? Good luck with that. You'll have to leave Florida to follow the jobs.As Margaret Thatcher said "Socialism is a great thing-until you run out of other people's money." So good luck with your son. You let fear fuc us all over.No nobody ,including your son, will get any medical care. And I hope you're not white. Then you'll really be up $hit's creek.
I'm sorry I upset you so much with my opinion, Anonymous. I can't believe the swearing and the insults just because I need my healthcare for my family.

I went looking for that article that you mentioned above and found it:

This blog is NOT for socialist Gillum propaganda or Democrat BS. It will not be posted.
