The Start of the Rape

UPDATE: 4:47pm--Press Release-- LOCATION CHANGE--Lake Worth and CPZ Architects will host a public charette at the HATCH 1121, 1121 Lucerne Ave, to gain public input on the Lake Worth Beach Complex Conceptual Design Improvements project. All residents are invited to participate and provide suggestions for the upcoming improvement project of the Lake Worth Beach Complex. The charette will run from 9am-5pm and residents are invited to come to the HATCH 1121 at any time during those hours and meet with City and CPZ staff to discuss their thoughts for the project.

We all knew that this would come AFTER the election.  Instead of repairing it, this commission wants to get rid of our Olympic pool and use our income from the penny sales tax to perhaps spend millions on a new facility in a different location and build a parking garage at the beach? You would never know that we have two conservatives on this commission.

Pool is done! No matter how many silly signs you put on your front lawn, it’s a new era in L-Dub!

I agree; I think the pool is history. It certainly was a nice touch, but people have moved on.

if you are going to move on then let some owner tear down the disgusting hotel and build a shiny new one

I wouldn't be against that. It's a firetrap!
