At the bottom of the first page in today's Accent section of the Palm Beach Post, is our friend, Sharon Puhalainen of Lakeside Point Gardens, and her cancer story. She underwent a bilateral lumpectomy, chemotherapy once every three weeks for four months and 36 radiation treatments daily for six weeks.
This feature, although an advertisement from JFK hospital, is an inspiring story of Sharon's bout with breast cancer. She is now "cancer free." It is also a reminder to all women to please get a regular mammogram and take care of your health.
