John G's, formerly located at the Lake Worth Casino and now at Plaza del Mar in Manalapan, had a record crowd yesterday in celebration of their 40 years of serving and being a part of our community. Their dad, John Giragos would have been proud.

I miss John g's. It has always been the best for food and service and the family is special in every way.
why don't you just go to the new location? It's right down the street.
Just goes to show location is everything. Mulligan's food is mediocre, slightly better than John G's and Mulligans packs them in. Plus unlike John G's Mulligan's gives back to the community. Glad John G's is gone.
Nothing can beat John G's food and service...NOTHING.
For some reason, there are a few people in this city who believe that businesses always "have to give back" in some way. John G's has always supported Dollars for Scholars and the LW alumni foundation and even have to this day in their new location.
Thank you, John G's.
I like John G's and I visit them now and again, about as often as I did when they were at the beach.
They chose not to come back to the beach, did not want to pay the rates. I have no animosity towards them or their owners. The City as the landlords of the Casino has to charge market rates so that we can repay the bond.
They chose to do what was best for their business and I wish them every success, but it didn't make sense for the city to give them below market prices for a beautiful new building.
Lynn, I do not care where they have moved. I for one would love to have the IRS audit their books. I have worked in restaurants for over 50 years, and have NEVER worked for or heard of one that takes Cash ONLY..
I understand that argument but as I have said many times before, what allows them to have such good prices (they have not gone up in years and afford quality food), is to keep that 2% that a credit card would take from them. It's their business model and it has worked for 40 years, now supporting three families and their Mom.
