Deputy struck by vehicle on I-95

Awakened early this morning by PBSO helicopter. There was a crash involving a deputy  at 6th Avenue South and I-95. The deputy was struck by a car when he was out of his vehicle giving aid to another motorist.

IMO there should have been 2 Deputies in that Sheriff`s car. One to watch the flow of traffic and the other giving aid. Bad location to get disabled.
