It is unconfirmed but apparently Dustin Zacks has "officially" dropped out of the mayoral race because he put out a press release stating so and throwing his support to Triolo because he doesn't want the City to pay for a run-off election. However, he is on the ballot and there very well could be a run-off but I doubt it. He can't really drop out. Of course, he never was really in it, not really. Now he wants to have a party at The Cottage tomorrow night to celebrate. Celebrate what? Crusty Dusty. He was a drop-in who has now dropped-out.
I have a problem with ALL "occupiers" and just people who are a general pain in the azz and a waste of time even if they are smart lawyers just wanting to cause havoc as are the socialist occupiers of our city parks who are there to whine and complain and over-throw democracy.
The Cottage? That certainly is an appropriate place to have a party since the owners already pulled off their own special havoc on the City of Lake Worth. Birds of a feather? More like vultures.

Well, give him credit all that you want. The fact remains that his name remains on the ballot. The fact remains that most of the voters will not have seen his letter throwing his support to Pam. He should have gotten out of the race immediately, not 5 days before the election or at least before we had to official set the ballot.
So, I give him ZERO CREDIT.

He did not do Triolo any favors. Now the last statement is definitely my opinion. All of the things that were in his "drop out letter were not the reasons at the TRNA meeting--It was Waterman's past financial problems. All of a sudden, at the 11th hour, Zacks actually has some LW issues for reasons to oppose her.
Lynn is right. Zacks should have dropped out months ago. Then maybe we could take him seriously.He drops out five days before the election?Is he really that dumb about how elections work? His stupid name is STILL on the ballot!!!
No less valid, though...
His name being on the ballot is not going to affect the election. Even if he stayed on he would not get enough votes to cause a runoff. Relax.
