I am passing this information on to all you "story tellers" out there who ride Palm Tran.The Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) is sponsoring a “Tell Your Story” contest! The FPTA is seeking true stories from Floridians and visitors about their positive experiences using Florida’s public transit systems. To enter, you may submit a short essay, a creative video, or a nice photograph with a descriptive caption. Show the reasons why you take public transportation and how it has been a benefit to you!
The rules are posted on www.FloridaTransit.org. The First Place winner will receive a 42" Flat Screen HDTV! Second and Third Place winners will each receive a third generation iPod Touch.
All submissions must be received by May 31, 2010. The judges are especially looking for stories, photos and videos that can be used in a statewide campaign to educate the public on the benefits of transit and to show how individual Floridians enjoy the ride.
