I understand that the legal fees amounted to around $7,500, paid by a private citizen. The City sued them, threatened to take their houses, created all sorts of anxiety and stress, and then won't reimburse for this anguish. Can they put this on the ballot or not because of the 5 parcel situation? It was a worthy cause--trying to save Parks and Open Space Zoning at our beach. Parks should always be saved.
