So far to date, 13 resumes for the Interim City Manager/City Manager position have been received by the city. What started out as two separate positions has now morphed into one. It was stated the other night that an Interim City Manager can now apply for the permanent City Manager position. This was a brand new concept and one that was a surprise as this change was not once discussed or approved by the Commission.

Hopefully the wisdom of the sitting commission will prevail. As a part of their due diligence the commission should include in their research the local papers and the commission minutes in the cities where the applicants served.
In most cases, city managers do not interject their opinions unless asked. I doubt if you will find much in Minutes. On top of that, we would have no understanding of the politics in those particular cities. City managers carry out policy of commissions.
did kroll apply?
Not unless he submitted a resume subsequent to Jan 5.
I think it is foolish to look for an interim city manager. We already appointed one. His name is Steve Carr. Why don't they get off there blooming A$$e$ and hirer a City Manager? I have never seen so much talking about nothing.
Carr is acting cm, not interim cm, forced on Carr by Maxwell because of another one of his personal vendettas.
I heard Maxwell is encouraging Joe Kroll to apply for the job and that Maxwell, Tri-lol and Amoroso have already met to discuss and approve hiring Kroll. This is dirty back room old style Lake Worth politics.
There is sometimes truth to rumors. He couldn't do his old job well.
