Dangerously brazen, heavily-armed Mexican cartel, ‘taunting’ soldiers on US side of border

Heavily armed Mexican cartel smugglers have reportedly been sidling up to the southern U.S. border in Texas and “taunting” the Texas National Guard soldiers who’ve been stationed there by Gov. Greg Abbott in response to the border crisis.

Texas DPS said it’s “committed to securing our southern border under the direction of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott” and will “continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds in order to make real-time decisions and will adjust operations as necessary.”

“As we work closely with the Texas Military Department, any potential threats toward law enforcement and the Texas Military Department will be fully investigated, and those responsible will be arrested and charged to the fullest extent of the law,” the agency added.
