Privacy overreach at Fox News?

Fox News requiring employees to upload vaccination status

Now this is funny considering some of their top hosts are against mandatory vaccines.

It does not appear that Fox News Media, however, is mandating employees to receive vaccinations — only to provide their status.

I thought that was a HIPAA violation? At least that's what some of their people have said on air.

I think HIPAA is mostly about mental illness, which happens to be particularly galling.

When there is a crime committed, it isn't usually because someone had pneumonia, or chickenpox!

The HIPAA Privacy Rule establishes national standards to protect individuals' medical records and other personal health information and applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically.

That's all very nice, but it came about over mental illness, and that is where it mostly applies. And you know that.

That's why every time there is a mass shooting and it turns out nobody could find out anything before hand is because of HIPAA.

Do you think anybody cares if you have diabetes?

Like everything we do in this country, it comes out of political correctness. Now, or course, we're not so subtle.
