Georgia Governor Puts Biden In His Place Over New Election Law

“I think Joe Biden’s so focused on Georgia’s election law even though he doesn’t know his own laws in his own state are more restricted than we are to take the focus away from the outrageous things that are happening on the border right now with kids being trafficked and people swarming across the border,” Kemp said.

Kemp also sounded the alarm that wanna-be governor and activists Stacy Abrams (who is under investigation) is getting rich off fighting the bill.

“Stacey Abrams is making a lot of money off of this,” Kemp said. “She’s getting billionaires and other people and people that don’t even have a lot of money to give money to this cause, really saying things that are untruthful to pad her bank account.”

220 Democrats voted for HR-1 and 210 Republicans. Rep Mary Miller of Illinois did not vote. It now is in the Senate.

Some parts of the bill mandates states to enact online, automatic, and same-day voter registration and to give voting rights to the formerly incarcerated and softens voter ID laws by allowing voters to sign sworn affidavits instead of showing an ID.
